What this is

Malaysia Confinement Centre Guide is an independent directory covering 127 confinement centre businesses across Malaysia. It exists for new and expecting parents trying to compare postpartum care options in one place, without scrolling through a dozen browser tabs or paid search results dressed up as recommendations. Every listing carries a score, a short summary of what recent customers say, and the practical details you need to shortlist a centre: location, services, contact information, and how it stacks up against similar centres nearby.

Malaysia Confinement Centre Guide is an independent directory and comparison resource. We also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to providers relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for doing so. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings. That distinction matters, so we keep repeating it: money changes who might contact you back, never where a centre lands in the rankings.

Where the listing data comes from

Each profile is built from public business information (registration details, services, contact and location data) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews for that business. We don’t copy or republish review text. Instead we read the pattern of what reviewers are saying and turn it into a plain-language summary, then link out to the centre’s Google listing if you want to read the original reviews yourself.

How rankings are earned

Sponsorship, clearly separated

Some pages include sponsored placements. These are always labelled “Sponsored”, shown in their own section apart from the earned ranking, and they carry zero weight in the rubric. A sponsored slot next to a centre changes nothing about where that centre ranks on merit.

What a business can and can’t change

A listed confinement centre can contact us to correct factual errors on its own profile: a wrong phone number, an outdated address, a service that’s no longer offered. What it cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the rankings. Those are derived from the data and the rubric, not from the business itself.

Who runs this

This directory is published by Meridian Guides, which has run independent city directories for everyday services across Malaysia since 2025. Meridian Guides ranks businesses with a published scoring method built on public customer reviews, doesn’t sell rankings or let payment move a score, and re-checks every listing on a monthly cycle so the information stays current. Sponsored placements are labelled as such, always.

Editorial oversight of the confinement centre rankings sits with Janice, Editor. Data across the directory refreshes monthly, and each listing shows a “last verified” stamp so you can see it’s actively maintained rather than published once and forgotten.
